Beaded jewellery in Alice Springs and indigenous art jewellery from surrounding communities

Queen Bead Jewellery designs are a calaboration between Mother & Daughter.

We also show work from Aboriginal Communities, featuring local seeds and nuts, some of which are painted intricately.

As we are both Artists and have lived and painted in the rugged and inspiring landscape of Alice Springs for many years. Because of our knowlege of colour and design and we found ourselves excelling in beaded jewellery design and added this to our bow. So Queen Bead Jewellery was born.

In her previous life Paula has studied art in many forms and has sold silk designs throughout Australia. She has taken to beaded jewellery making with gusto and has proved to be an exceptional tutor and and an inspired and creative beaded jewellery designer.

Wearable arts '07 Paula took first prize for the Accessories Division where her beaded jewellery design was acquired.(see below)

Bronwyn is a well known wild life artist. Her paintings, jewellery designs and silk have been acquired on a number of occasions and she is represented in private collections nationally and internationally.

You will see on the following pages of Queen Bead Jewellery some examples of work submitted for sale by Paula and Bronwyn. Note our use of colour,contrasting and complementary, the juxtaposing of primaries and tertiaries and the exciting use of shapes...........enjoy
